"By their fruits you will recognize them." Matthew 7:16
Born and raised in the values that make our community great, I've lived a life rooted in the principles of hard work, integrity, and service. As a cattleman, I've learned the importance of dedication, the value of a day's work, and the significance of standing by your word.
These are not just principles I live by; they are the foundation of my commitment to you.
My wife Lindsay and I are raising our five children on a family-operated farm in Senoia, GA and Meriwether County.
I am a small business owner in District 136 through which my wife and I instill a sense of work ethic and confidence in our children, while serving the community.
I am a partner with Smith Gambrell and Russell LLP, a 125+ year-old, Atlanta-based international law firm, where I practice in business and intellectual property law. I am a licensed patent attorney and a Solicitor under the laws of England and Wales, with an international client base. My practice allows me to serve solo inventors, entrepreneurs, and Fortune 500 companies. Every year of my legal career I have volunteered my legal services through pro-bono programs to ensure all citizens have access to the legal system.
Prior to law, I was a high school teacher and instructor at community college. My heart for teaching and coaching remains a constant in my life, and such experience allows me to present complex situations to any audience.
It is through this dynamic background that I am compelled to stand up and serve in the Georgia State House as a beacon of transparency and truth.
Faith, Family, and community are central to my policies. In every instance, I commit to bring the highest level of diligence and thoughtful consideration to ensure that the state legislation is serving our community in District 136.
I pray every day over this campaign. I cannot be a bystander when I see the open and growing effort to dilute education, divide families, and supplant our liberties with larger, more bureaucratic and costly government agencies. My faith demands that I lead this campaign with my savior Jesus Christ, and I believe that my path here has uniquely prepared me to serve Georgia and District 136.
I promise to be a transparent and accountable lawmaker. As your state representative, we will continue to have fellowship and conversations—I will be present, I will listen, and I will speak with a loud voice to represent District 136 at the Capitol. I will not be silent when it comes to parental rights, government spending, and the safety of our community!
Your hard-earned money should be respected. I'm all about making sure we use our state's budget wisely, so we're not just thinking about today, but also making sure our kids and grandkids have a bright future. Less waste, more value for your dollar.
Every parent wants the best for their kids, and so do I. As a dad and a former teacher, I know firsthand the power of a good education and strong family values. I'll work to make sure parents and teachers have a say in what our kids learn, ensuring they're ready for real life.
Feeling safe in our neighborhoods is non-negotiable. I stand shoulder to shoulder with our police and first responders. They're our everyday heroes, and I'll back them up to keep our streets safe.
I will fight for policies that support our farmers, that expand our access to healthcare, and that foster economic growth across Georgia. I will advocate for policies that enhance innovation and freedom in these sectors so we can maintain and recruit the ‘best of the best’ in Georgia. From our farms to our hospitals, and every business in between, I'm on your side. Let's innovate and keep Georgia moving forward.
I believe in a District united in purpose, where every voice is heard and respected. Division serves nothing. We must unite in truth and re-build trust in those who are called to serve. We're all in this together. It's time to put aside differences and work towards what's best for our community. I promise to listen, respect, and unite. Let's rebuild trust and make sure everyone's voice is heard.
“Use me, God. Show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself.”
